Composite Number

A composite number is a natural number that has more than two factors.

Example :

8 have four factors (1, 2, 4 and 8).

Hence, 8 is a composite number.

But 7 is not a composite number because it has only 2 factors (1 and 7).

The number one has only one factor and is considered to be neither prime nor composite.
